    Parachute Home

Maybe it’s the fact that I’m 7 months pregnant or maybe it’s just that the long winter months are around the corner (in which I fully embrace my enneagram 9-ness), but cozy, quality bedding is my greatest joy these days. I’ve never been one to spend much on bedding, but now that I’ve tried Parachute I’m never, ever going back. Creating a clean, simple, cozy atmosphere in a home–and especially a bedroom–is always top priority. If it’s not warm and inviting, it’s not worth it. And when you can combine coziness and beauty, you’ve got a real winner. Every Parachute product I’ve tried so far has totally exceeded my expectations.…

    Christmas Cards with Artifact Uprising

I had the awesome opportunity again this year to work with Artifact Uprising on our Christmas cards, and once more I’m blown away by the quality and beauty of their products. Every card feels like a little mini piece of art with the beautiful gold foil, high quality photos, and artistic design. And it does feel especially important this year to spread some love and foster real connection with our friends and family who we might not be seeing on Christmas. We actually just walked outside our backyard and had my little sister snap some quick pictures for us, which was pretty great considering Jack and Peter are nearly impossible…

    Wildflower & Rye Linen Swaddles

When Annelise, mother and owner of Wildflower and Rye, reached out to me about her handmade linen baby swaddles, I couldn’t wait to wrap my little fall baby up in them. The durability and timelessness of the linen, along with the richness of color makes for one lovely baby swaddle. I also love that they add so much charm and beauty to the nursery when they’re draped over the crib or even just sitting in a basket. I chose Terra-cotta and Ivory Stripe. You can shop her swaddles here! https://www.etsy.com/shop/Wildflowerandrye

    WildBird Ring Sling

I have a bit of an attachment to my ring sling. To the point where if my house were burning down I’d grab my kids and this sling. I know lots of women who swear by other slings/wraps, but even after trying those, my WildBird is always the one I grab first. It holds my big babies well and distributes their weight evenly, plus I can throw it on and tuck the baby inside in about 10 seconds flat. When Peter was a newborn, I never felt like he was loose or slipping, and I love how it’s easily adjustable so that I can tighten it with one quick tug.…

Fin & Vince Guest Post: Minimalist Wardrobe for Kids

Original post here: https://finandvince.com/blogs/news/minimalist-wardrobe-for-kids “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” ― Fred Rogers I have two little boys, ages 2 and 9 months. My two year-old, like most toddlers, has boundless energy and an imagination that breeds wonder. I learn so much from him every day, and am often in awe of how he looks at the world and engages with it. Play really is how he learns and works. My 9 month-old isn’t far behind, and I can’t wait to watch my boys grow and learn and play…
